I feel like I’m losing my mind because October is already almost half over and it was August 3 days ago. The start of the holiday season is always the busiest time for me as a content creator. November and December are a whirlwind, so I’m trying my best to enjoy this time before the real craziness begins. Heres a little bit of what i’ve been up to.
Doing things
I recently got to shop at the new coach outlet in Gloucester and they had some veryyyy cute things in store including the black shoulder bag pictured below. It reminds me so much of a bag my mom carried when I was a kid. I love that coach has fully made a comeback.
I saw the Eras Tour movie this past weekend and it was SO GOOD. Of course it made want to go to another show… so now I’m trying to scheme my way into one of her Miami shows next year. Stay tuned on that one. The secret to getting what you want is being delusional.
Alex turned 28! We celebrated his birthday last week — libra king!! We met when we were both 18 so this birthday made us realize that we’ve known each other for TEN YEARS.
Wearing things
I am loving adding pops of red into my fall wardrobe. I recently got this cardigan from Old Navy — the color and the fit are perfect. I also just ordered this red sweater from Sézane and I cannot wait to wear it.
My Abercrombie skort is TIRED. This is legitimately the most worn item of clothing in my closet — I find myself reaching for it constantly. Theres so many ways to wear it and the built in shorts just make it that much comfier and easy.
Loving things
Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce. No further explanation needed.
Hear me out — football Sunday. If you cant beat em’, join em’? In years past, I was the first to complain about having to sit through watching multiple football games on a Sunday, BUT this year I’m … dare I say… into it? Maybe its just the power of Taylor Swift. Or maybe I just like having an excuse to sit on the couch all day.
THE FOURTH WING. If you haven’t read it yet, add it to the top of your TBR. If you’re new to the world of fantasy but want to dip your toes in, this is the perfect book. Its easily digestible but still so compelling.
Layering perfumes is a major pro tip!!!! You will have to pry Glossier You out of my cold dead hands. I don’t care if its basic and everyone wears it. Its popular because it really is just that good. I recently started layering it with Replica On A Date and it really adds a little *something*
Hating things
WEDDING PLANNING. My god. I’ve always heard from other people how hard wedding planning can be, but I never really truly understood until I was in the trenches of planning a wedding. There is so much that goes into it that I just never realized before… and don’t even get me started on the cost. Highway robbery. I went into a bit more detail in this tiktok.
Looking forward to things
Alex has a work trip to Miami and I’m tagging along for the weekend — I cannot wait. Its only been a few weeks of chillier weather and I’m already ready to be back in the sunshine.
